Lovely for what it was and unique setting in abandoned sugar factory camp. Be advised that the larger, more organized (the volunteer's words) store is in the Queen K mall.
We were so excited to find this place as there is always room for more books, vacation or not. And books that support the public library, "Winner winner, chicken dinner!"
A hidden gem if you need a used book. Love this place.
For library bookstore, this is well-organized and does not seem cluttered. The desk-person was friendly and the vibe of the place was all the best that reading and libraries can offer.
This is a wonderful little store tucked in the back of an old sugar cane factory. My GPS tried to take me through a gated Spanish Road on one side of the factory, but I was able to find access via S Puunene Ave on the other side of the factory. From this road there are "books" signs to follow to the building that houses the store. I'm sure I could spend hours in this store, but since we arrived a half hour before closing, I quickly chose a book, which was very reasonably priced at just $1. If you love books this is a charming little place to visit.
Tucked back by the Sugar Cane Factory and elementary school. Small friendly little place full of treasures...books and the volunteers that keep this old bookstore up and running. A Must Visit.
We ended up finding a bunch of brain candy reading as well as a great diving book and a 300 piece jigsaw puzzle. Vacation reading, set!
