twice have eaten here and they are as good as ever, food is authentic German, rich , flavorful, and the bread is really good (i had 2 orders) the portions are huge, there was a stream of people coming in and everyone left smiling.
Lots of free parking in a well lit parking lot, Ive heard they have great German wine and beer too
5. Owner or manager should have came out and talked to customer. It's important because I would have told you these things in person and not on public review .

Great German food. Fun place during October Fest. Nice beer selection. Bernard is a really nice guy. Comes out of the kitchen to say hi to the patrons.

The wine is hand picked and delicious! The food is cozy and good for a rainy night or just a well cooked meal! There is nothing like it on Maui! Inside is cozy and cute and outside makes you feel like your in a garden!
The single waitress and bar hop work their buns off, keeping up with the orders, refilling house ice tea and bringing me more bread.
I chose one star because there was no option for NO star!! My "filet mignon" tasted more like a thin chewy cut of Chuck. the Alfredo was no taste bland. The waitress chatted with the bartender most of the time. never came back to ask how we were doing..nor did she refill our empty drink glasses & there was only one other table of 3 dining. never will go back and I won't be recommending it to anyone. over priced for the quality of food and service.
Alright going to be nice here because this place has lots of potential . First our waitress was sweating so much it literally dripped not once but twice on my arm. The makeup on the face was completely running down its face. In all fairness I'm not sure if was a man or woman but I didn't care either way it's was unacceptable. First the good ,my wife's pasta was really good, the bread was fresh . My pork wienershchnitzel was very fantastic looking . The taste was average but was large and impressive . These 2 things took us from a 1 to 3 so whoever the chef is has a lot of potential. I feel bad about saying the bad so I'll make it brief as I know it's hard to be in restaurant business .
