Gorgeous collection of quilting fabrics; excellent selection of Asian patterns, Hawaiian, batiks and tie dyes as well as cutesy licensed patterns as well. There was also a good selection of notions. Impressive. As an added bonus, there's a whole mall for the rest of the family to wander while you geek out over fabric. 8-)
Aunty Barb and Uncle Roy are amazing! From designing the next project to do and helping you with figuring it out to fixing your sewing machine, Sew Special has a lot to offer. Last I checked they were by the Women's Macy's on the North wing of the mall.
I was actually at Sew Special as a favor to a friend. The staff was so nice about explaining everything to me, since I was definitely out of my comfort zone. I was able to buy what my friend wanted thanks to the helpful staff.
Huge selection. Friendly helpful staff. This is a large shop, but it has a small family feel to it.
Excellent selection of all kinds of fabrics! Limited selection of notions. Excellent customer service every time I go in. They do offer basic sewing classes, I wish they offered basic quilting classes, mostly terms and techniques, for those of us who know how to sew!
