0 stars. Horrible, absolutely no security, dark and scary and crime ridden even thought it costs $15 per day. Many cars have actually been stolen from here. Just happened again this September 2016. Avoid, park somewhere safe and take a taxi.
You would think that by paying $15/day to park our vehicles, we would be assured of our vehicles' safety. But no, we have to park at our own risk. I have heard of too many vehicles being stolen from the Kahului airport paid parking lot. Someone needs to be held accountable.
Electric vehicle charger may be marked as not free but I did not see any sign indicating I would be charged $7.00 ( or anything for that matter) for approximately 9 minutes. I found the charger and drove up to it and took the plug-in off the side which it was hanging. There was no sign on the right side of the charger base in which I took the plug from. I picked up my passenger to find out that I owe seven dollars for the nine minutes I was at the airport. The guy was a little snooty and said it's clearly marked. Unfortunately it was not to me. I think a new sign/signs need to be made.... especially right where you pick up the charger from the base station.
This ABM parking is a terribly ran company that robs everyone they can, even people that work at the airport. Mediocre upkeep of their facilities and we have to deal with the faulty equipment they have. There is barely any parking spot for employees and they charge you a ridiculous amount to park. They keep raising their prices yet don't do crap about their faulty parking and equipment. I really hope a better run company takes over and gets rid of this trash ABM.
My key card got denied for some odd reason today. Now I was trying to make sure I wasn't late for work and I can't believe I have to deal with their outdated garbage equipment. I was forced to park in the regular parking and what do you know, they wouldn't compensate me because apparently it was my fault for swiping in too fast for the computer to register. I've been working at the airport for about 9 years now and I have to say this ABM parking is ran terribly. I can't believe they won the contract for the airport parking. The employee, some old local lady, was all ignorant about the fact that my card didn't work and just said I was at fault.
