Honestly, a life saver when vacationing or living on the island. Tons of great products, selection very similar to the mainland (or in our case, Canada), and SUPERB prices relative to the other mainstream grocery stores on the island. We found parking to be relatively civil. Gas, as everyone has mentioned, is mega cheap and a must buy when you're here. At least 50 cents cheaper than anywhere else. Customer service was friendly and efficient, lines moved quickly. Food court is outside, huge 18-inch deluxe pizza ready in 10 minutes from when you call is a major win too and feeds a family of four comfortably. Make sure you call ahead for pizza!
Regular Costco, they have best price on gas on the island. Better prices for items compared to other groceries. Wine, beer, liquor prices much better than other outlets. They have swim wear and water gear, camping gear, beach chairs.
Best prices for organic food in Maui. Comparable to places on the mainland. Sometimes they don't have stuff and it needs to be shipped in. But Costco is definitely a great place to go.
Parking lot can be a little crazy, cars, people everywhere. This place has everything in one building. I've found personally, that it's cheaper to purchase non perishable household items such as, laundry soap, toilet paper, cleaning products etc. But not so much as groceries( only 3 person household). I do purchase my meats, chicken and pork from here. I find that if you could do your shopping in the evening then it's not as hectic. Food area is great as well. Lines tend to be long so if your looking for a quick bite to eat order ahead or be prepared to wait a bit.
The parking lot is a bit of a cluster. It can be hard to get in or out. But inside is easy to navigate, and perfect for families. Prices are the same as at home (mostly), and you'll find most everything for your Hawaii vacation needs.
I noticed they have much more alcohol selection then on the mainland.
