I initially gave them a deposit for parts on Dec. 18th. They then kept putting me off until the last week of January, claiming shipping problems, which I found out was a lie as they bought the part from Jim Falk Ford. The first time they fixed it at the rate of over 2000.00 dollars, it lasted for a day. The second time they fixed it it lasted a day. They finally had to order a new evaporator as they messed up the first one, so on the fourth time the AC didn't leak. This took lots of hours of me waiting at their facility. However, my truck still isn't done, they broke the small fuel rest door on my dash, they scratched up the finish on my dash, they broke the legs off of the carpet thresholds that hide the wires, during the process one of my batteries fried. Now after ten texts, numerous phone calls, emails, they will not respond even though they told me they would take care of it. Please do yourself a HUGE favor and use someone else. They also go by the name of AC King and they do mobile work, but it is the same guy.
They told me My compressor was broken and quoted me $400.00 for a new one. I took my truck to another shop. They said my compressor was just fine. Topped off the system with freon $40.00 later my AC cranks.
This place is a godsend. Paul is the man. We'd been waiting literally months for another auto place to get back to us about when they would have the part we needed for our A/C. Paul got the people on the phone in five minutes, and everything is taken care of for much less than the other guys quoted us. I highly recommend AUTO AIR MAUI!!
