If you find yourself getting of the plane in Hawaii & realize you forgot your sandals... this is the place to go! Very close to the airport.
Bought my husband some Teva slippahs 7 months ago. He wears them every day. A month ago one came apart on the bottom. Took it into their store and they gave him a brand new replacement one. Now that's customer service. Great arch support and helps my husband's back.
I've been hearing the jingle on the radio for awhile and decided to stop in. I'm a waitress and very active. I thought I was wearing good shoes before. I thought my ankle pain was part of aging. The staff at island feet told me about Hokas. They are expensive and look a little "different". I did my research and decided they were worth a try. I.F has a good variety of Hokas so I was able to try the different styles. These shoes were an amazing investment and I have no more ankle pain, the price was the same as the Hoka website which I was very surprised about, I usually expect to pay more to avoid shipping. Now I'm saving for the oofo slippers - my feet are very happy!!
Came in to replace my sandals. First thing I got bombarded by "1950's used car salesman" tactics. The lady would not stop recommending some sandals with arch supports that I really didn't need. I told her, "I'm looking for sandals that will last me a long time. Do you have anything like that?" She points to some sandals and says, "Oh these ones here are build for outdoors and should last over a year, if not two." So I got them. Fast forward to today, about 4-5 months later, I'm out hiking about 3 miles from any road, and BAM my sandal breaks. Totally unusable. $75 for some sandals that only lasted 4 months. MY $5 LOCALS LAST THAT LONG. I WOULD HAVE BOUGHT LOCALS OR ORDERED SHOES ONLINE IF THIS WOMAN HADN'T LIED TO ME JUST TO MAKE A BUCK! Good job capitalism you've won. You've now scored way more money out of me than I wanted to deliver. Anyway this place sucks, I won't be going back, I wouldn't recommend to anyone.
My husband I flew in from a 13 hour flight, went to change into warm clothes and he realized he didn't pack his sandals (Boots don't really work in Hawaii). As we were googling for shoe places near the airport, I drove past this small store, and decided to pull-in despite seeing it didn't have the highest reviews. I asked my husband to be quick since we had kid's in the car and wanted to get to Lahaina before dark. QUICK is an understatement! He was back in under 10 - minutes & raving about the service inside. He had walked in, told the owner or employee he really loved keen's and wanted to stick with that brand. The owner glanced at him, said I'll be right back, and came back with two sizes in 3 popular styles, and they were a perfect fit. So fast! and great customer service. We would go back again in a heartbeat. Thanks to the owner for making that extra stop quick and painless.
I came to this store a year or two ago when it was new. The owner was nice at the time, So I decided that I needed a new pair of slippers. so I googled island feet to get their hours of operation and at that moment I saw some reviews that wer not so great. So anyway I just wanted to share my latest experience . Well after reading the reviews I decided to go in and observe the customer service and the store itself. boy did the service change. The owner not so friendly as before, not much selection. And when I asked if they had a better style I kinda got a sarcastic remark from him. I didn't make a big deal about it but I just kept it inside and bought what I needed at the time and left. So for me I will just research and shop online.
