Bottom line: If you need a GI doctor, and you wanted to be treated with respect, and feel as though your Doctor is there to help you, then Dr. Matsuyama is not the one for you.
I am not sure if I have ever started a review off with the suggestion that somebody be thrown in jail...but this is that review. STAY AWAY FROM THIS MAN. He is a threat to society. He does NOT care about ANYONE but he sure loves padding his paycheck. An OBVIOUS scam from the second you walk in. A closet of a "doctor's office" with a 5 minute "consultation" in which he asks what is wrong...then EVERY SINGLE TIME suggests some PRESCRIPTION or to take more of the one you got. This man will prescribe you anything to make money and get you out of his office. He did not even want to answer any questions or even care abotu your well-being. He wanted to leave the second that he walked in. Just pushing DRUGS DRUGS DRUGS. A formal complaint will be made, as well as a review on every possible website. Shame on you, "doctor" you have an opportunity to HELP people, and you act on the side of EVIL. I do hope one day you change your ways. STAY AWAY. WARNING. GO TO HONOLULU!!!
I would not recommend anyone going to Roy M. Matsuyama, MD for treatment of an illness. Dr. Matsuyama has treated me with nothing but disrespect, and that I was an inconvenience to his day. When I asked the Dr. to explain the disease he diagnosed me with (UC) he acted annoyed and provided zero help or information. I went to Dr. Matsuyama three times and will most certainly not go back.
