Best doors off on Maui! We wanted to do a doors off helicopter flight and decided for Pacific Helicopter Tours. Best decision for us. You get a window seat for sure with the Robinson R44, so it's a better deal than flying with other companies. Also the guys were very friendly and our pilot was great. We never felt unsafe and he told us everything about the places we saw. Finally - great music during the whole flight - we sometimes felt like being in a movie ourselves ;)
My experience with Pacific Helicopters was absolutely amazing! First time on a helicopter and I instantly asked myself why I hadn't done this sooner. The doors off tour felt like I was a bird flying over the West Maui Mountains. Such an awesome perspective of this beautiful island. The staff is super friendly and very accommodating. I can't wait to get back in the sky again! Thank you!
We were looking for a helicopter tour company in Maui that offered a No Doors experience and allowed us to bring our cameras to capture the island from the sky - Pacific Helicopters is THE ONLY company that enabled us to do so! From the initial greeting with Nate and the staff, our flight with Ryan (our awesome pilot), and a nice post-flight debrief chat where we were given two fresh avocados, this was an unbelievable experience and easily the highlight of our week-long trip! Ryan even had a great music playlist for the flight that featured the epic Jurassic Park theme song as we were flying over a Molokai waterfall, and was very knowledgeable about the history and layout of the Hawaiian Islands. This company does it right by custom-tailoring the experience for each customer/trip, and can adapt well to changes in weather, cloud coverage, etc. WELL worth the price we paid and we recommend to everyone - a great value for what turned out to be a private tour for just the two of us! Amazing doors off heli tour of North Maui and Molokai. Brandon our pilot was so great! So knowledgeable of the history of the islands and took us to the most beautiful places. We landed on a ranch in North Maui where I was surprised with my boyfriend asking me to marry him. Nate our tour manager helped him plan and took secret photos as we sipped champagne on a cliff top overlooking the ocean. The views were so amazing as were the people. I can't thank them enough!
This was the most amazing trip I have ever taken. I'm a professional photographer so having no doors is key. Nathan helped me tremendously before the trip to prepare and the pilot Brandon was awesome! I wish I could give them 6 stars.
