We arrived very late at night and went through the line to the shuttle well.
The shuttle to the budget lot was fast and the driver was courteous.

I don't know why people have given Budget a low rating. Maybe they didnt like waiting in line with only two people processing people but I am pretty easy going and I just relaxed. The process was easy. I got out of there in about an hour. Loved my Nissan and had no problems with it. Check in was a snap. I will use Budget in the future.
Don't come to pick up a vehicle in the afternoon, I had to wait more than an hour in line to pick it up with a reservation.
I've never experienced this level of poor customer service before. Our flights to Maui were supposed to land at 11:55AM, and at the end of our trip depart from Maui at 1:15PM, but we received an email from our airline saying that each of those flights have been pushed back into the evening; we're now arriving at 6:04PM and departing at 8:00PM. Picking the unit up late wasn't an issue for Budget, but dropping it off for that later flight certainly was. It was recommended to me that I start a new reservation, and after going through the motions our billed jumped to over 1200$. There wasn't any explanation given for this jump. The Budget representative then told me my other option was to extend the use of my vehicle on the last day (my whole reason for calling in the first place..), but that would carry a fee. When asked about what the fee would cost, he hadn't a blessed clue. He said it is determined on the day of return. If Budget jumping it's rental base from 479 to over 1200 is any indication, I don't want to trust they're going to be fair with the cost of holding this vehicle for the extra 6 hours I'll need it. There should be a much simpler solution, but the representative showed no effort in getting there. I've been through many rental agencies in Maui, and have left feeling valued as a customer. Budget is the exception; clearly their business is booming, so they aren't bothered by losing me as a customer.
We ordered our car online months in advance with ease and the online staff where kind courteous and knew there product well.
Drop off was very fast and easy.
There is a reason this place is only 2 stars. Booked here for our Honeymoon. Our Hawaii experience was amazing except for this place. We waited over 2 hours for our vehicle! An hour and a half was spent waiting to even get into the place to get into another line. Then took the car back an hour and half late and they charged for a whole extra day. Spoke with management and they did not seem to care at all. This will be my last booking with Budget. I have never had an issue with Enterprise.
