Once we actually got there, everything was smooth. But still. Argh.
Very slow to get the car even though you arr a gold member customer. Returning car is much more worse experience. Especially the agent outside in the returning parking lot whose name was sarah was very rude and even out of a basic manner. I will never use this branch.
We were in Honolulu for a week and had a car from Alamo the service was excellent in and out in a minute, for Hertz you feel that there are doing you. a favour, than demand a 200 deposit even if I already paid in advance for the car, over all very rude or no service at all, I won't be back, they don't even provide you with return instructions
Read up all the reviews for this Hertz. It's all true and they've been ruining lives of customers for over 5 years. Photos of lines going out the door and people waiting endlessly to get their cars date back to 2012 to now. They overbook customers than they can handle and don't even have the cars for the amount of people coming in. Look into yelp, TripAdvisor, google maps and even Instagram of the long wait lines and insane crappy service. Heed my advice and go elsewhere. I rented from Kihei Rent a car and you're in and out the door in less than 10 minutes. Avoid this Hertz at all cost
Renting was easy and quick. I had no extra unexpected charges or fees. And the dropped us off at our boat after we returned our rental.
Rude customer service, can't help you because I can't find your reservation, no manner at all.
THIS IS NOT THE AIRPORT LOCATION. But it's so close to the airport that we mistook it for that. Once we took the shuttle out to the airport Hertz lot, they told us to take the shuttle back, and then take a taxi over. Booo!
