Seriously!! Loose our reservations even though the national office tells them we have one... backward unprofessional attitude tried to get us to pay $200 a day rental fee... I think that's called bait and switch taking advantage of the circumstances... Shame!!!!
Rented from National on Maui for 13 days. Car was ready to go, gassed and washed, upon our arrival at the rental center. Quick exit processing and we were on our way to a fantastic vacation. All too soon our time was up and the drop off at National was a breeze and quickly on the bus to the airport. Can't wait to come back to Maui and National.
I have been renting Vehicles every year from this location for over 10 years. My rental periods are normally 10-15 days each time so I need a vehicle that is comfortable and like my at-home vehicles. Most of my in-bound flights have me arriving between 10:00 and 11:00pm...and each time, even at this late hour, everyone I have worked with have always been very welcoming and friendly. Unfortunately, my last arrival left little choices for my SUV. After trading it out the next day, there was then a slight problem with that Vehicle and had to trade it out again...Kiko C. stepped up to help ensure I had a Vehicle I was happy with and that worked well for me. These folks are great to rent from, attentive and actually care if you are unhappy and there is a problem. They will do whatever is needed to help make your time on the island and the experience with National great! Highly recommend!
caused us stress. They told us they closed at 5! Our flight was rerouted and they Left us stranded with a cab that got lost milking the voucher the airline gave us. Had to argue with them the next day to get our reserved car finally.
As an Emerald Club member, I really liked stepping off the shuttle and moving directly to the cars in the Emerald Aisle. The attendant showed me which cars where available to me and I selected a very nice, brand-new 2018 Toyota Corolla. I was out of the parking lot and on the road in only a few minutes. Very efficient. The car return was equally efficient.
Open sewer lines being repaired and you get stuck waiting there in that stink.
Couldn't be happier. We heard about their excellent service from my wife's cousin (seriously) and decided to give National a try. Excellent! It doesn't get any better than this, from check in to return. Easy Breezy. Friendly personal service with big smiles. We will definitely use National again.
Hotel guest in the area should be reimbursed or relocated.
