Maybe you have to wait a bit when its busy, but it's Maui, relax! Fantastic customer service! Had to go home 17 days early, could of cost a lot, because once you brake your contract, they can charge you the rate for that time period, not the rate that you had originally booked at! It would of been hundreds of dollars more, once I explained why we had to leave the gal I spoke to, worked at getting us the rate we started with! Thank you so much Thrifty! Really wish I had made a note of the gals name, she was so good to us! If you read this, thank you, thank you!
The van we rented wasn't new but ran great and was clean. Transaction went without a hitch. Shuttle was prompt and drivers very courteous.
Was scammed into paying $700 for a small Mazda at their airport location. Very unhelpful and annoying sales people. Would not recommend. Went to different rental place got Mustang for less than half of that rate.
Absolutely terrible. We waited for over an hour for our car that we reserved months earlier. There were several other cars available but they wouldn’t consider an up grade. Awful business. They just tried to up sale us on everything. Don’t ever rent from them!
I'll keep it short and to the point,
You get what you pay for, at least with this company. They gave me a Full SUV when a mid-size was paid for. Beware of very aggressive upsell on additional unnecessary products. The agent dealing with me was getting upset because I wasn't buying into the "gas deal" they were offering and insurance package. I hope your experience is better if you decide to go with this company but I certainly don't recommend whatsoever.
